Girl’s Bedroom Retreat Part 2
Creating a welcoming and fun retreat for a 13 year old girl was our project for this week. We are creating a fun, energetic and playful vibe to reflect this teen ‘s personality. She loves bold, fierce and eye- popping colors that will really brighten up this basement level room.
Atlantis Blue by Benjamin Moore was just the right color to bring energy into the space. We balance off the room with use of creamy neutrals and rich varying tones of brown with a color palette inspired by Sherwin Williams. The addition of the accent wall which will be featured in next week’s video will unify all our colors, bring in that fun, energetic and playful vibe we were going for and it will create movement within this small space.
With my artistic talent and clever use of paint, I will create balance and symmetry in this unique abstract accent wall design. Be sure to check back next week so you won’t miss out on the artistic process and big reveal of this bedroom’s transformation.
A kid’s room should always reflect their personality and be involved in making selections for their space . I love incorporating things they love and adding small personal touches to make a statement.
