DIY Console/Hall table made of 2x4s

This was another project done for my friend – A console table completely made of 2x4s.
The design was inspired by the outdoor bench that made by Mark in his Modern Builds channel and the DIYcandy website. I’ve their links below if you are interested. We have just thought that we could turn it into a console table that can stay inside the house.
I like the way the box joints turn out. It looks great. It holds everything strongly. The table looks solid and it is really heavy. It wasn’t a difficult project, the only time spending part was sanding and filling gaps with wood glue and saw dust. Otherwise it was a great and relatively easy project that I reckon anyone can do, especially for those like me who only has limited work space and tools but fall in love with woodworking.

Materials:
2×4 treated pines.

Finish:
Walnut stain and vanish (2 coats with light sanding between coats)

Tools:
wood glue
air gun
mitre saw
lots of cramps
belt and orbital sander (from 40 grits all the way to 240 grits)
