T O O L S N E E D E D:
Heavy Duty Staple Gun
C U T L I S T (QUEEN SIZE BED):
1 4×8 Plywood Board 65-1/2″ x 39-1/2″ (Headboard)
2 2×9 @ 81-7/8″ (Side Rails)
2 3×9 @ 64-1/2″ (End Rails)
2 2×2 @ 75″ (Side Rail Attachments)
8 3×1 @ 60-3/4″ (Slates)
4 2×4 @ 45″ (Back Headboard Attachments)
BLOGS THAT HELPED ME WITH THIS PROJECT:
***Before attaching your furniture feet, you must make sure that the rails are flush with the wall….(each corner is at a 90 degree angle)….unless your Queen size mattress will not fit inside the frame!!!***
*Attach the rails so that the End Rails sit on the OUTSIDE of the Side Rails….unless your Queen size mattress will not fit in the frame!!!***
These type of beds retail anywhere from $700 to over $1000!!
I made mine for around $250!!
*In order to save money you MUST use coupons when getting your materials from the Fabric Store….you MUST!!!!!! Even do separate transactions if you have to. If not, you will end up spending wayyyyy more than you planned! COUPONS are the key to this DIY project!*
*You can also save money by using Mattress Foam instead of regular foam from the Fabric store….you can easily safe at least $60 bucks by going that route.*
