Bay Area-based band Caught In Motion’s Banah Winn and Aaron Joseph stuck around for an interview after performing a couple of songs in my bedroom. Lots of thoughts answers and laughter. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with these two. Their record release is THIS Friday (Nov 18th) at Cafe du Nord in San Francisco! Come!
If you can’t make it to the event, you should at least like this band on FB:
They’ve been doing a 10 week countdown to the record release where they post a new take away show every week, each being a track off of the new album, check it out:
Each birthday when my children were growing up I would get up bright and early and play this John McCutcheon birthday song loudly over and over until they got out of bed, came downstairs and turned it off. They just loved it early in the morning! 🙂
Melancholia starring Kirsten Dunst is reviewed by Christy Lemire (AP critic and host of Ebert Priesents at the Movies, check your local PBS listings), Matt Atchity (Editor-in-chief Rottentomatoes.com) and Alonso Duralde (TheWrap.com and Linoleum Knife podcast).
See what other critics are saying:
On the night of her wedding, Justine is struggling to be happy even though it should be the happiest day of her life. It was an extravagant wedding paid for by her sister and brother-in-law who are trying to keep the bride and all the guests in-line. Meanwhile, Melancholia, a blue planet, is hurtling towards the Earth. Claire, Justine’s sister, is struggling to maintain composure with fear of the impending disaster.
