Short raw video of the tabletop for Jessi’s coffee table. Sanding was done with an inflatable sander drum to shape and smooth the edges. The top and bottom were hogged down using a belt sander after planing with the router planer (no video).
I started out using my 1/2 DeWalt cordless drill, but the juice ran out way too quick. Switched over to my handy dandy Sears Craftsman 3/8 inch drill that I’ve had since forever, draped the cord over my shoulder after tripping on it way too much, and went to work.
These drum sanders come in three different sizes and are really incredible for doing this kind of work.
